White Light Supercontinuum Laser
NKT Photonics has the industry leading range of turn-key supercontinuum lasers used by many of the most innovative companies within bio-imaging, semiconductor inspection and scientific instrumentation.
The sources are extremely robust and reliable, build for intensive use and can replace multiple single line lasers, large dye and gas lasers as well as broadband sources like ASE sources and SLEDs.
|SuperK FIANIUM Supercontinuum Lasers||SuperK EXTREME supercontinuum lasers||SuperK EVO Family|
|The SuperK FIANIUM supercontinuum white light lasers are broad as a lamp and bright as a laser. They deliver high brightness diffraction-limited light in the entire 390-2400 nm region. By adding one of our filters, the SuperK can be converted into an ultra-tunable laser. Our supercontinuum lasers are maintenance-free and the the monolithic fiber architecture ensures excellent reliability and a lifetime of thousands of hours.
||The SuperK EXTREME supercontinuum white light lasers are broad as a lamp and bright as a laser. They deliver high brightness diffraction limited light in the entire 400-2400 nm region and by adding one of our computer controlled filters, the SuperK can be converted into an ultra-tunable laser with up to 16 simultaneous lines. Our lasers are maintenance free and the fully fiber monolithic architecture ensures excellent reliability and a lifetime of thousands of hours.
||The SuperK EVO is a range of high-power, cost-efficient supercontinuum fiber lasers based on our extremely reliable supercontinuum technology and is designed for easy end-user control and maintenance-free operation.
|SuperK COMPACT supercontinuum lasers||SuperK EXTREME Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) laser||Thorlabs Mid-IR Supercontinuum Laser|
|The SuperK COMPACT is a low cost supercontinuum white light source delivering diffraction limited light in the entire 450-2400 nm region with a brightness orders of magnitude larger than that of incandescent lamps and with far greater bandwidth than ASE sources or SLEDs. The light is delivered in a single mode fiber terminated with either a standard FC/PC connector or our high quality collimator.
||The SuperK OCT sources are broadband low noise sources designed for optical coherence tomography. Paired with a broadband spectrometer, these sources gives the same performance as Ti:Sapphire-based OCT systems at much low cost, lower foot-print and with great mobility and robustness.
||The SC4500 is the world’s first commercially available femtosecond-laser-pumped Mid-IR Supercontinuum Laser Source.
This supercontinuum laser emits over a wavelength range from approximately 1.3 µm to 4.5 µm (7700 cm-1 to 2200 cm-1) with >300 mW of average output power in a collimated beam. More than 110 mW of the output power is within the 2.2 – 4.2 µm (4500 cm-1 – 2400 cm-1) range, which overlaps with many gas absorption lines and other molecular signatures.
The pulsed femtosecond oscillator driving the supercontinuum runs at a fixed repetition rate of 50 MHz. The brightness of the SC4500 laser exceeds traditional Globars and even synchrotron sources by orders of magnitude.
